In July 2008 Julia presented a month-long course on Risk Management for Meetings & Events to two groups as one of the eight modules required to achieve Singapore's Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Diploma in Tourism – specializing in Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) and Events. This certification program, developed by UNLV Singapore and accredited by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), is aimed at individuals seeking to enter or advance their careers in the MICE and Events industry (http://www.unlv.edu.sg/).
