Economic Impact

25 October 2003

There is a direct and indirect economic impact resulting from an event spend; including the monies paid directly to those companies and employees working on the event itself, then the goods and services those companies and employees spend that money on within their community. Economic impact numbers may play an important part in gaining political, financial, and community support for an event.
