This is a Must Have reference as well as a text book for every student of event and meeting management. In fact, I was so impressed I made this book a compulsory text book in my class at Temple. It is easy to understand and very well laid out, including many check lists that should help students as well as event management practitioners immensely.

Event Solutions Magazine Event Planner of the Year 2002

It's funny; in undergraduate school I sold my text books back as soon as the semester was over in hopes of money $$$.  In graduate school, the books prove of more depth and value, and this is certainly one of them. Your book is a not only a comprehensive set of fundamentals but, the appendix is a real life "tool box."  I have sincerely enjoyed reading your book.

Julia, my master’s degree students are using your text and love the models, tables, diagrams, and Silvers methods!  Thanks for this great contribution to the Literature.
